Little Heath School

Safeguarding Team

At Little Heath School, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing environment where all our students, including those with special educational needs, can thrive and reach their full potential. The safety, well-being, and dignity of our students are paramount, and we have robust child protection policies and procedures in place to ensure this.

As a school community, we take safeguarding seriously and appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the security of our school environment. For example, you may be asked to provide identification upon arrival, or a member of staff may approach you to confirm your identity and the purpose of your visit. These measures are not only essential for the safety of our students but also reflect our commitment to fostering a culture of vigilance and respect.

We understand the unique vulnerabilities our students may face and work tirelessly to tailor our safeguarding practices to their needs. This includes specialised training for our staff, the use of accessible communication tools, and fostering trusting relationships to empower students to express their concerns.

If you notice anything that causes you concern—whether it relates to a student, member of staff, or visitor—we encourage you to report it immediately. Please feel free to approach any of the following safeguarding leads (pictured on the right), who are trained and ready to support you.

Your vigilance and partnership are invaluable in helping us provide a safe and secure environment for every student at Little Heath School.
