School Performance Measures
At Little Heath School, we are committed to supporting the individual needs of our pupils, all of whom have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for complex learning difficulties. As a specialist school, our curriculum and assessment measures are carefully tailored to reflect the diverse abilities and progress of our students. The government’s School Performance Measures, which are designed for mainstream schools, do not take into account the personalised pathways our pupils follow or the significant progress they make in areas beyond standard national benchmarks. While we are required to share this data, it does not fully reflect the achievements of our pupils, who make outstanding progress in their communication, independence, and life skills—essential areas for their future success.
