PEThe PE experience presents each student with a journey full of movement exploration and investigation, and throughout this journey, opportunities are available for each student to acquire and refine their skills, knowledge and understanding for a number of physical activities. Success will be an important motivating factor for progress on this journey and it is expected that each student will have the opportunity to realise his/her full potential. It is our view that these experiences make a significant contribution towards each individual’s self-esteem and confidence, and this is especially important to many of our pupils who may have experienced some difficulty in the past. Enjoyment and motivation are key factors in our work. We provide programmes and modules of study that are based upon the National Curriculum, which offers a variety of physical activities including: games, swimming, HRF, outdoor education, gymnastics and athletics.
