ArtArt reaches all of Little Heath's pupils from Year Seven through to the Sixth Form. Pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 receive a grounding in the practical aspect of the subject through a variety of media, methods and approaches in two and three dimensions. They come into contact with art, craft and design from different cultures during their Art studies, and make links between these and their practical work. In Years 10 and 11 pupils follow a course of study leading towards Entry Level and GCSE Art & Design accreditation. They achieve strong grades in these examinations. Moreover, work produced by pupils in Year Ten and the Sixth Form contributes towards their ASDAN submission. |
